Join us in-store as we support International Helmet Awareness Day 2015!
This year International Helmet Awareness Day will take place on 1st August. The event was founded in 2010 as a result of Olympian dressage rider Courtney King-Dye seriously injuring herself in a riding accident. King-Dye was in a coma for a month following the accident, she was not wearing a riding hat at the time and she still continues to undergo rehabilitation today.
International Helmet Awareness Day was set up by Riders4Helmets with the aim to educate equestrians on all aspects of helmet safety and the benefits of wearing properly fitted, secured and certified riding hats.
Here at Naylors we will be supporting Riders4Helmets International Helmet Awareness Day. Join us in-store on the 1st August for individual hat fitting, guidance and advice from our qualified staff and industry specialist from Champion. There will also be special offers on riding hats (participating brands only) and enter our prize draw with two prize riding hats up for grabs. Participating riding hat brands include Champion, Charles Owen and Gatehouse.
If you want to bring along your current riding hat and have our trained staff check and make sure it still fits correctly please do (please be aware this is only the fit of the hat and not it’s condition). Don’t forget to pop in-store and pick up your free educational safety brochure.
You can follow the campaign and watch a series of live webinars from the industry experts on International Helmet Awareness Day 1st August at riders4helmets.com.
