From head to tail protection, the Sweet-Itch Shield Fly Rug offers protection from parasites and insects as well as up to 90%+ UV ray protection to reduce sun bleaching to help your horse or pony stay comfortable whilst preventing irritation and skin allergies.
Made with a strong 600 Denier ripstop outer to prevent damage, the Sweet-Itch Shield Fly Rug features a highly breathable fabric with lined shoulders to help prevent rubbing or stretching of the rug. With an elasticated and adjustable belly wrap, a full wrap tail flap and an ear hood with an elastic insert to ensure full body protection whilst ensuring a good fit for further comfort.
With an added wither relief for additional comfort and pressure relief on the wither, the Sweet-Itch Shield Fly Rug is complete with a traditional side gusset for enhanced freedom of movement, an Ezi-clip front closure with added touch tape closure for extra security and a tail cord.

Nice sweet itch rug

As my horse really does suffer in the summer with sweet itch I thought I would give the rug a chance so far it has served it's purpose only down point is it has left a sore on my girls shoulder which I have had to put a anti rub vest on her bar that it's a good rug

I am very pleased with both the quality and size of the rug. It is well made, has padding inside on the withers to prevent rubbing and keeps out the flies with the belly flap. Worth the extra cost
