Get Down!
Down is incredibly warm yet very light in weight, making it ideal for equestrians. Here at Naylors we offer a variety of down jackets and gilets suitable for wear both in and out of the saddle. The Mountain Horse Belvedere Coat is a long length padded coat with down insulation for maximum warmth, a water repellent finish for protection against the weather and a large rear riding vent to ensure comfort and freedom in the saddle. It’s all about the layers
We all know how important it is to layer up during the winter months to ensure we stay warm but what is the best way to layer? Is it a case of the more layers the better or should we follow the guidance of the brands and stick to technical layers?
Baselayers have been designed to help the rider regulate their body temperature and to wick any excess moisture away from the body ensuring the rider stays dry and comfortable. The Baselayer allows warm air to be trapped against the skin without the need for extra bulk meaning you are free to move around and carry on with your chores and riding without restriction. With their super warm 0.39 tog rating, unique construction that allows air to be held against the skin for longer and soft brushed inner they offer the ultimate in warmth and comfort whatever the conditions.
Fleeces are great for layering during the winter months. The Musto ZP 176 DWR Microfleece Zip Neck Fleece is made from soft microfleece and features DWR inserts on the collar and sleeves to prevent water ingress, making it ideal for wear when riding and around the yard.

Don’t Get Your Legs Out!
