Allen & Page Care & Gain is suitable for all underweight equines, even including those prone to laminitis.
Care & Gain is perfect for those at rest to medium work which are poor dooers which need a high calorie feed. It is low in starch and sugar but has high energy levels. It is highly palatable and can be fed to those with poor teeth and also those with intolerances to barley, molasses, alfalfa and/or soya.
It is high in oil and fibre to support weight gain and also contains magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate to help buffer the acid contents of the stomach, a probiotic, a blend of prebiotics and a postbiotic for healthy digestion, a blend of herbs including mint and fenugreek and has balanced vitamins and minerals so you don't need to supplement if you feed the correct amount for your horses bodyweight.
