Honeychop Super Senior is the ideal fibre choice for older horses or those starting to show the signs of aging. It is suitable for horses and ponies both at rest and in work, including those prone to laminitis or gastric ulcers.
It has been formulated with the older horse in mind and has palatable fibres; oat straw and low sugar meadow grasses (Timothy and Fescue) have been blended with a low starch pellet, high in oil to support condition and provides essential omega 3 fatty acids.
Glucosamine has been proven to support joint healthy and aid cartilage function and has been added at a functional level when fed at the recommended feeding rate. In addition, yeast has been supplemented as a proven probiotic for digestive support, by balancing the gut flora and pH, supporting the maintenance of a normal hindgut environment.
Marigold flowers have been added to support skin and coat health. Additionally, the herbs, Thyme, Oregano, Mint and Basil each have natural, antioxidant properties as well as a pleasant aroma, to tempt even the fussiest feeders.
