Dengie Meadow Lite with Herbs is Dengies lowest calorie feed, making it perfect for good doers and those prone to laminitis.
It provides just 5MJ/kg of digestible energy and is made from soft, tasty meadow grasses which have been blended with high-quality oat straw. Even though it is a low-calorie feed it does not compromise on chew time.
Meadow Lite contains pea hull fibre a great source of highly digestible fibre, it also has a range of fibre types which is beneficial for digestive health and helps to support a healthy microbiota. The taste is enhanced with the tasty herbs, cinnamon and thyme to tempt fussy horses and ponies. It has a very light dressing of linseed and rapeseed oil which has been added to promote coat shine.
It is also naturally low in sugar, 3%, and starch, 0.5%, and if free from molasses, alfalfa, cereals, preservatives and binders and has Non-GM Ingredients.
