The Nikwax Tech Wash and Polar Proof Twin Pack is great for washing and proofing your fleece clothing.

Tech Wash is a soap-based cleaner which can be used regularly to clean clothing and equipment without damaging the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coatings and should be used instead of conventional detergents or washing powder. Polar Proof helps to maintain the air gap between the knit and weave of fleece clothing, keeping the you warm and comfortable while repelling water from the surface in wet or humid conditions, keeping you dry.

Tech Wash should be used first and can be used in a washing machine it is suitable for use on all fabrics, including technical textiles and will lift out dirt that can attract water and mask water repellent finishes, unlike detergents, it does not leave behind water attractive residues which encourage 'wetting-out' and will maintains your garments breathability and original water-repellency. It is water basedm, environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non-flammable and non-hazardous.

Polar Proof adds and renews water repellency whilst reviving breathability, it maintains insulation, keeping you warm, prolongs the life of gear and optimises performance in wet weather and is easy to use and can be used in a washing machine with no tumble drying required. it is water based, environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non flammable, non hazardous and it does not contain fluorocarbons.
