The Shires Bevel Bit features a lozenge that sits comfortable on the horse's tongue, assists with salivation and encourages the horse to accept the bit. The double jointed mouth piece eliminates the nutcracker and palate action of a single jointed bit and instead applies pressure to the horse's tongue and bars of the mouth.
