Presenting Baileys Meadow Sweet with Turmeric, Baileys offers a low starch, low sugar, low energy, high fibre and a fully balanced feed with added TumerAid to ensure your horse or pony is as happy and healthy as they can be.
Meadow Sweet's low starch and sugar content makes it ideal for horses that may be prone to laminits or those with other aliments that may be worsened by starch however this feed may not be good for good doers or overweight horses due to the calorie count.
Leisure horses that need a feed that is sympathetic to the sensitive digestive system may also benefit from Meadow Sweet due to no whole cereal flakes being added which could increase acidity levels within the stomach. The high fibre content also helps create a natural balance within the digestive tract whilst the honey offers natural sugars and a prebiotic effect.Older horses may benefit from Meadow Sweet due to the addition of TumerAid.
TumerAid helps support the joints, encourage general good health, promotes a healthy, shiny coat, aids digestion and helps with the bodies natural defence system and natural inflammation processes. Meadow Sweet helps to feed the correct daily balance of TumerAid.
Meadow Sweet may also be ideal for excitable horses that require a higher fibre feed as some low energy feeds may still contain high levels of cereal which may prove too much for excitable horses. The high fibre with added soya oil offers a slower release of energy to encourage a calmer temperament.
