Meadow Sweet's low starch and sugar content makes it ideal for horses that may be prone to laminits or those with other aliments that may be worsened by starch however this feed may not be good for good doers or overweight horses due to the calorie count.

Leisure horses that need a feed that is sympathetic to the sensitive digestive system may also benefit from Meadow Sweet due to no whole cereal flakes being added which could increase acidity levels within the stomach. The high fibre content also helps create a natural balance within the digestive tract whilst the honey offers natural sugars and a prebiotic effect.Older horses may benefit from Meadow Sweet due to the addition of TumerAid.
